The following two articles have been retracted.

“Priorities and Challenges of Health System Chief Nursing Executives: Insights for Nursing Educators,” Journal of Professional Nursing. 2006 July-Aug; 22-4: 213-220
Readers should be aware that these two articles are reports of the same study. Only a small amount of the content in each article is different. In both articles, the main outline remains the same. Some content was added or differs to address different audiences.
The co-authors differ for both articles; the editors of Nurse Leader and Journal of Professional Nursing believe that the co-authors were unaware of the duplicate publication.
